This morning:
After we took out all of the braids this morning she decided she didn't like the curly hair and wanted the braids back in :( It didn't happen obviously. By the time she got to school she liked her hair again.

My mom did crap like that to me all the time. Eventually you'll realize that you just have to cut off your hair to get her to stop it. In addition to the look you have today, I also was subjected to the Princess Leia look. Ya. Good luck.
